What to wear under a mini dress?

I bought a mini-dress to wear to my 25th birthday party. It is one of those dresses in the shape a shirt-large t, but it is very short. I was wondering what I should wear underneath in case I get drunk and look. I was thinking about something like little shorts that were hidden underneath. Someone suggested footless tights, but the dress would look funny with them. All Suggestions what to wear and where to get?

If you do not want to wear leggings or anything, then you can get the shorts / briefs contemporary dancers were in their "dress" ...
