I'm planning on throwing a lingerie party for my 21st b-day...?
My idea is...
1. to rent out the house of an associate of mine. he has a huge secluded side that includes 2 stripping poles, a jacuzzi, a bar, and a perfect area for any dj to set up.
2. have one of the underground radio stations(very popular) from miami/ ft. lauderdale to DJ and advertise for the party
3. get flyers made and hand them out
4. book 3 or 4 strippers to perform throughtout the party
5. charge admission( $10)
6. have age striclty enforced... 21 and older
7. MAYBE get an up and coming artist to perform
8. dress code strictly enforced...lingerie
Now, I have no money as of yet to put aside for this party, but i'll be working 2 jobs, saving, and maybe borrowing so i have the money. Does anyone have any comments, suggestions, or ideas that can better the party for me or make it more affordable. I'll be 21 first week of Feb, but I may throw the party mid March.
One thing to think about is security, if everyone is dressed in almost nothing you have to prepare for people who have drunk too much and people are looking good to each other than you are going to face major problems in regards to assault etc etc.
Also unless you want only females you have to think about what Lingerie means for men also?? Boxers or what?
I would recommend not having this party, as great as it might sound on paper, it could have impacts on your career later on in life from pictures etc. Also be aware if you are the host you could be liable for those who are drinking and driving etc.
It sounds like more trouble than its worth to me.
